Do you ever stop to think about what you think about?
To take that an important step further. Think about why you are thinking about that and HOW you are thinking about that.
60,000 thoughts per day
According to Dr Fred Luskin of Stanford University, The average person has over 60,000 thoughts a day. Of those 60,000, 90% of them are repetitive – through the day and from previous days!
Which makes you wonder about the amount of white noise we entertain in our mind every day compared to the actual thoughts that can bring us progress.
Of those thoughts how many are negative and fear based as opposed to positive and love based?
We all have thoughts both positive and negative - the issue isn’t about having the thoughts, the issue is what we do with those thoughts.
Will you accept this challenge???
When you have thoughts that are negative, stop and ask yourself why are you having those thoughts and what can you do about the scenario that is causing those thoughts. (you might be pleasantly surprised).
By doing this you can adjust your thinking and therefore your ability to see opportunities and solutions.
You can deliberately adjust the thoughts that come into your mind and to create the life you want this is a skill that is incredibly important not only to your productivity but your physical and mental health as well.
Want to understand more about your thoughts, how to become more self aware and take more control of your life? Let’s connect.
